Magnolia Lane Properties Co-Owner Earns Premier Industry Certification

Only real estate broker in PA to have three premier accreditations.

Allison Fisher, Real Estate Broker and Co-Owner of Quarryville-based Magnolia Lane Properties (MLP), recently received the credential of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM). This makes Fisher the only person in Pennsylvania to hold a trifecta of IREM certification.

Fisher holds three certifications from IREM, the real estate industry’s leading education and training organization for brokers and property and asset managers. In addition to the CPM certification, Fisher holds the ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) and ACoM (Accredited Commercial Manager) designations through IREM.

“The CPM designation is a culmination of the education I received through IREM and the experience I’ve obtained during the nearly 20 years I’ve been working in multifamily and investment real estate. So much has changed over the years, and I appreciate being a part of an organization that provides up to date information that allows us to best serve our clients.”

Achieving the Industry’s Gold Standard

Striving to set the gold standard in commercial and residential real estate investment and property management has been a core tenet for Fisher and her partner, Realtor Sarah Barbour, ARM, ACoM. Long-time colleagues, Fisher and Barbour worked together in corporate real estate marketing and multifamily housing for many years. Desiring to parlay their expertise into a locally owned business serving the community they are a part of, they co-founded Magnolia Lane Properties in 2011. Since then, they have built a reputation for operating within the highest ethical standards to increase profitability, reduce expenses, and mitigate the risk of clients’ real estate investments, and a client roster that continues to grow.

In 2021, MLP earned IREM’s distinguished AMO (Accredited Management Organization) designation, making MLP one of only three firms in Lancaster County to hold the designation, and part of an elite group of only 600 real estate management companies world-wide that have met the requirements to earn this distinction.

About the AMO Designation

AMO® is the nation’s first and most recognized property management firm certification. It sets the standards for firm conduct and client service and recognizes property management firm excellence. AMO’s demonstrate strong financial performance, outstanding leadership, and adhere to a Code of Professional Ethics strictly enforced by IREM to maintain integrity beyond reproach. Accreditation as an AMO requires firms to follow best practices in real estate management, demonstrating that they meet standards and functions related to operations and service.
